"twilight zone"

Venger creates an illusory Skull Mountain to trick the heroes into opening up Zandora's box into a strange and dangerous dimension that Diana likens to "the twilight zone". A disembodied female voice invites them in and thinking it is Zandora they find themselves on a giant chequered board with a cosmic backdrop then spy an ornate clock that chimes. On the chime the black squares become holes and the heroes fall down into a massive cage that is the lair of a giant wasp.
