Venger disguised as Merlin carries around a white hare as a pet. The heroes mistake it as a rabbit but are corrected by him and later on realise that this is the metamorphosed Venger because of Dungeon Master's riddle about recognising him by his "white hare". The heroes had assumed he meant "white hair".
