One of the people abducted into the Realm from another time and place by the Crystal of Chronos is a Viking. He is kept in a dungeon with four other abductees; the Starfire-One-Niner pilot, a samurai, a Union soldier and an astronaut. He acknowledges the futuristic jet pilot with a nod and a guttural sound. When Josef Meuller destroys the crystal the astronaut glows and disappears along with the other abductees, presumably returning to their proper time and place.
